Wyoming Whiskey

We toured Wyoming Whiskey four summers ago, when my Mom was still alive. Kirby, Wyoming is about a 50 minute drive for us. Our sons were over 21 and my sister came, too. It was an educational, fun experience. If you are in our corner of Wyoming, I highly recommend it. I thought about it because we went to a wedding reception at the Ten Sleep Brewery Saturday evening. My favorite beer on tap is Huck n’ Tuck Wheat.

I am thinking about my parents, both deceased, because my Dad’s birthday was in early September, so he is always on my mind this time of year. He died in 2002, and I miss him every day.

Anyway, Wyoming Whisky: You can see how  handcrafted bourbon is made. After the tour through the working distillery and the warehouses to see the barrels with an explanation of the maturation process, the tour  concludes in the Whiskey Shop. In addition to the post-tour taste of Wyoming Whiskey, you can purchase unique WW products and gear. Contact The Whiskey Shop at 307-864-2116 for tour information.
